Hi everyone - Looking for a move to Australia or New Zealand
 

Hi,

My partner and I are looking for a move to either Australia or New Zealand in the next year for work (im a Quantity Surveyor, she is a Optical Assistant) and for a better standard of living and work/life balance. We are both under 30.

We are both looking at all the different places that we could go and what would suit us in the way of work and lifestyle. We both have good friends that live in OZ but at opposite sides of the country :) but that's how it goes lol.

So we look forward to reading a lot of posts on these forums and getting information from other peoples experiences :)

Hello...welcome aboard. :)

We have excellent forums covering Australia and New Zealand. The regulars who post in those forums will be more than pleased to answer any questions you may have. The links I have given you will take you to the main index page for both countries. At the top of the page you will see a list of sub forums...any questions about visas or the actual immigration process should be posted in the Immigration Forums.

There is also the Moving Abroad by Profession Forum...it may prove to be a useful resource.

Also take a look in the BE Wiki...you'll find loads of useful info in there.

Before you begin posting please take time to read through the Site Rules and any stickied threads or announcements that may be posted at the top of each forum's index page.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

You find lots of info in the Australia and immi fora but, lol, if you wander into the barbie you might wonder what's going on! Take all comments in there with a pinch of salt. ;)
