Hi Sue,

We are brits!! we have lived in the Canary Islands(Fuerteventura) for 5 years and Spain for the past 2 years, but the recession has hit very hard in Spain, much worse than here in Ireland

Yep, we are seeing a few people moving back from Spain. Some seem to have got hit quite badly.

Yes we are enjoying Ireland, the people here are very friendly, we are missing our friends in Spain, its funny we were all in the same situation(no money) but it made us a lot closer, they had a leaving party for us and we all chipped in and had a great night. There are so many people out of work there i just dont know how they cope.

I've never been to Ireland but my hubby has and he's told me it's a beautiful part of the world.
