Hello everyone would just like to quickly introduce myself, I’m new to this forum and thought that I would just post a quick hi. I am a 52-year-old Englishman living about 20 miles north of Chicago Illinois USA. I have now lived in the USA for over 21 years.
My hobbies include: Reading, Ham radio, Electronics, Computing, Books, Fishing to name but a few.

Yes they do but interestingly I recently started using Dragon naturally speaking dictation software. First I tried setting it to an American accent then I tried it with a British accent. The British accent works twice as well for me but I have to remember to say Full stop instead of Period.

I worked in Glenview Illinois for a year in 1998 - that must be close to where you say you are living? I was a nanny and had a fantastic time there. I'm currently living in western Sydney, Australia and I am hoping to keep my British accent! It's great when you get pestered by people who want to sign you up for things as you can say your on holiday and get away with it!
