Default Hi from a Brit living in India

Hi, I have been living in India with my son and husband for 6.5 months. We live in Auroville, an international township in the southwest near Pondicherry. All going well so far but thought it'd be nice to speak with fellow expats and am looking forward to reading through the wealth of information on this site.

Cheers!

Hi there and welcome to the forum . Glad it's going well for you there.

Best place for you to check out is the India section of the forum, so suggest you post some questions in there.

Hi thanks, yes I'd gathered that, just wanted to introduce myself. Will certainly post any future questions in the correct section.

Hi, thanks.

It's a progressive town where people from many different countries have come together with the aim to live and work together in peace. The population is approx 2300 (42% being Indian) with the non Indian population coming from 43 different countries. My husband grew up here and having tired of UK living we decided to emigrate.

More info can be found here:

Hope this helps.
