Hi All
Hi Everyone,
We moved to Lapland in Sweden 5 years ago and still love it. The peace and quiet is wonderful. If we can help anyone with information on the region, just contact us. Best wishes. David and Kerstin |

Re: Hi All
Crikey.
We're nowhere near you at all as we're down in New Zealand. G'won then. You've caught me eye. Come on down to the Sheep Dip in the NZ forum and tell us more about your lives up there. I'd just love that. How are you on home swaps for hols ? :sneaky: Ooo...and of course, find your way around the rest of BE . Happy Posting to this lovely place. Be great to have a Scandinavian contingency. |

Re: Hi All
Best advise we had was buy all your winter clothes in Sweden. Ended up buying some from Canada (mail order) and rest here. Swedish coming along OK. I thought it would be a case of simply learning new words and using them. No one in my family told me the Swedes jumble up the word order and don't us 'the'! The exclamation mark is nice though. Used a lot more and not so 'loud' in Swedish. Plenty of French words and so much English on the TV, even the Swedish channel adverts. Love the recent Jamie Oliver ad.
