Hey community. Canada ahoy! xD
Hello people,
My name is Emily and I currently live in Stoke-on-Trent with my 2 children who are 11 and 13. I work as an apprentice gardener in a park environment and im wishing to Canada to work in a similar environment or better still in a botanical garden. Now i really like the Toronto area, so really id like some advice on - good schools, rental market, average salaries to help me gauge how much i can spend on rent. Basically im still at research stage but ideally i want to moving there next year, so any advice that i haven't mentioned that i need help with please feel free to contribute. Cheers.

I'm sorry I can't help you with your questions but if you could repost them in the Canada forum...I'm sure the people who frequent that forum will be able to help you. The link I have given you will direct you to the index page of the main Canada forum. At the top of the page you will see a list of sub forums...the top one being the Immigration Forum. Any questions relating specifically to the immigration process should be posted there. The main forum is for topics relating to Canada and the Maple Leaf is for general chatter. Please take a few moments to read any sticky threads or announcements that may be posted at the top of each forum's index page.
The BE Wiki is a great source of information...I recommend you take a read through the Canada section.
If you have any problems finding your way around the many BE forums AmyDavid is the concierge for the Canada forums...she will be act as your BE tour guides to help you find your way around.
For any other questions, problems or concerns please contact a moderator. The mods for the Canada forums are Iaink and Christmasoompa.
I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Hi Emily
Welcome to BE.
I hope you have found your way to our Canada forum by now, where there are some lovely folks who can answer any questions you have, as well as advise on the dreaded visa. There are lots of folks in the Toronto area too.
Good luck with your plans - working in a botanical garden sounds idyllic.
