Hi to anyone living in Alaska who has made the move from the Uk!
Myself,husband and kids have been wanting to move to Alaska for many years,but due to petsonal circumstances were unable.
Luckily things have taken a turn for the better and we are now able to pursue our dream finally!!
We are interested in the Wasilla area with a view to rent first so we can get settled first,then to become mainly self sufficient.
We are originally from Manchester England,moving to Anglesey in North Wales.
Alaska has always been the place that has held our hearts and we are not scared of some hard work!
It would help greatly to talk to anyone who has been in our position,or anyone who can just give us advice with the whole process.
Hopefully,even make some friends before we get there!!

SanDiegoGirl has given you the link that everyone wishing to move to the US must start with - the next question is... where do you fit in there? If you don't, you'll be visiting but nothing else.
