Hi Nyaradz0
I really think the info you need is beyond most members experiences. Perhaps your mother could seek advice from a visa specialist in Zimbabwe.
The information I could see on the UKBA website suggests a family visit cannot be for longer than 6 months, and I'm not sure if it can be used for visiting someone who is not a British Citizen. Also, if applying for a general visa for longer than 6 months, your mother would need to provide proof that she is free of TB coming from Zimbabwe.

Additionally the family member you are visiting must :
be a British citizen;
be settled in the UK;
have been granted asylum in the UK; or
have Humanitarian Protection status.
