Default Hello there!

I have just found this forum and this it has already been some helpful! I am currently working in Bristol and looking to move abroad to Vancouver ideally and I am sure this is going to be a massive help. I am 22 working in the property industry and currently trying to secure a job offer in order to apply for a work permit within the next few months! if anyone can help that would be fantastic!

Kind Regards

Hi, and welcome to BE.

Tbh, at 22 your chances of finding an employer prepared to go through the paperwork/hassle/cost of a LMO app for your work permit (not to mention having to wait months for you to start work) is unlikely unless you have specialist skills? Even if you could find an employer, proving you're more experienced than any Canadian could also be tricky.

But have a look at IEC visas, as that would be great. It's an open work permit, so you'd be work authorised and much more employable. The prog for 2015 will open in around Dec/Jan time.

Pop over to the Canada forums if you've got any questions, hope to see you there.

Best of luck.

Tbh, by the time you've found a job offer and got the LMO (that takes several months), it's likely to be the end of the year at the earliest anyway.

But it will depend on exactly what you do - do post more info in the Canada forums and the peeps there will be able to advise.

Good luck.
