Hey there everybody.
I am from the North of England but have been living in Knoxville Tennessee since 1997. Have been an American citizen since 2008, but hey, im still British!

Would like to converse, even meet up with some other Brits in my area.
If i can of any assistance regarding living over here or the immigration process, feel free to ask.

Hi Dean,

I am a few miles away down in Maryville. Originally from the Midlands, I have been here almost two years after marrying a Knoxville native.
I think I have settled in pretty well and enjoy the more laid back way of life compared to home.
Nice to know there are more of us in the area.

Welcome to BE.
Good to see you have already started posting and getting to know some folks in you area on our USA thread. There are certainly plenty of Brits around there, and we all need that bit of Brit humour every now and then.
My best mate lives just outside Memphis in Collierville - I must admit I do enjoy going to visit her - great (and cheaper) shops and Beale Street (need say more ) :thumbup: In fact I am thinking of a visit for later this year.
