Hello from Riyadh
Hi, my name is Kay and I have been here in Riyadh for 6 weeks now. I come from Scotland and have never worked away from home before, I am currently working as Caretaker/Liason for 3 children and Head of Household in Arab home, at home in Scotland I worked with special needs children and in the past 6 years specialised in working with the Deaf and Deafblind children to young adults. On Sunday my daughter is having her baby my 1st grandchild and its my birthday :-) I am looking to meet people who are here like myself on their own, to meet and make new friends

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
