Hello from a newbie

Hi all

Ive lurked for a bit while we considered our plans for the future but we have made the decision to move to Australia.

I have dual citizenship (uk and oz) as do my 2 kids but husband is only British. As we have been together for over 20 years and married for 15 we figured a spouse visa would be straightforward.

So so wrong about that...but the application has been submitted now and paid for (£4000 eek). We opted against the extra cost of an agency.

Id love to hear from anyone else in or previously in a similar position. We’ve not told all of family and friends yet. So many hurdles until we get there.

So you're going home with the kidlets and the hubby. Did you get your Oz citizenship by descent or were you born and raised there.
