Hello guys,
I wanted to say hello to all the members here, particularly any expats and runners here in the Netherlands. I arrived here to give love a go, similar to some of you, and I ended up getting married with 3 awesome kids.
I worked initially as a lecturer before moving into tech with my own startup. Anyway, I've been here in the Netherlands for a bit but wanted to broaden my network.
If I can help any of you with any questions, please let me know.
Nice to meet you all. -M

As you realize, this is a section for world-wide introductions only, and not every one reads it. Post again in the dedicated Belgium/Netherlands/Luxemburg forum with your kind offer to help!

I’m new to the Expat Forum and am also living in the Netherlands. Great to meet you here! I too would like to broaden my network here and meet other Brits abroad to share our experiences. Let me introduce myself. I work as a translator, copywriter and transcreator (German and Dutch to English) and also married a Dutchie with two almost grown-up kids.
How’s your start-up going? Where is it based? What did you lecture in? I went back to Uni (Leiden) to study a master’s degree in translation.
Nice to chat, S!

Where in the Netherlands are you living? My husband worked in Amsterdam for 12 months, back in 1980. Then Maarstict for 6 months. I used to fly out most Friday afternoons and back to the UK first thing Monday. Happy days, with many great memories. We have many fond memories of Holland…back then we always said Holland, not Netherlands.
