Default Possible move to Australia

Hi Everyone,

Me and my other half are seriously considering a move to Australia! No idea where yet but we have checked and we are eligible with me being an accountant and him being a mechanic.

We will be bringing out 4 year old Rough Collie with us, I'm sure he'll love the beaches but perhaps not the heat so much lol

We still have a lot of research to do but the bottom line is that we are struggling for reasons not to go, especially after the attack in London yesterday!

Lovely to meet you all
Mel

Thanks for the warm welcome, the only reason we can think of not to go at the moment is family.

I'm enjoying reading peoples stories

Hi Ali, I am MAAT and I have been told I can register with a local accounting body so your husband should be able to do the same. He will also have to learn all the tax rules over there but I'm not sure how I go about that yet, assume there will be a test! Also not clear on whether it is possible to register with the new accounting body before you have an aussie address so I need to look into it more. I will post up what I find out

Hi mrsanastasi and welcome to the forum. You're currently in the introduction section of the forum. Why don't you check out the visa section of the Australia forum on here? You'll find plenty of people already in Aus to advise you.
