Hello from Lancashire

Hi there.
A bit about why I’m here. My husband and I got married last October in Texas and he went back to England while we waited for my visa to be approved, it took almost 5 months. I’ve been in England since the end of March this year. Here’s our pondering, if things aren’t going better for us in England we are looking at moving back to Texas but as with getting a UK visa, we are clueless about the process. In getting that visa I found the British Expat forum and they helped with everything and were excellent at answering all our questions.
This move is not set in stone but it’s a real wish for us both. I have a 28 year old daughter in Texas who I miss more than I can say... my husband has 4 children, 2 grown and about my daughters age and 2 young ones , 10 and 8 who live with their mom in Yorkshire, but they may be moving to Spain next year. I’ve read a couple other posts with basically the same question I have. Can we move to Texas and apply for a green card for my husband or so we have to stay in England and if so, how long and how much does it cost. I appreciate you and thank you for any information you can give.

haha right 😳. We claim ourselves to be in Barrowford, we are just about 100 yards away from the “dividing line” lol

Not sure which of the "Burns" is worse, I was shocked on a recent visit to Blackburn to see most of the pubs had shut, although I did like the mall and market which had opened near to the bus station in the town centre.
