Hello Expats in 2022
 

Hi Expatters, I am Roy, and have just joined BritishExpats.
I recently retired (2021) on a State Pension pittance, poor as a church mouse but happy. However, the way things are going I might not remain happy.
Still living in England at present. I play guitar and sing in 'open mics' and I speak intermediate level Spanish.
I hope to find an economical country to retire to (not in the Americas) with a settled English and/or Spanish speaking community.
I have lived in Israel, the Netherlands, and Spain though I could not afford those now.
I like Turkey and Morocco so they are under consideration. All I need is food, shelter, health insurance (and health of course!) and a guitar. A live music scene is important to me.
