Hello Everyone. Moving to Doha, Qatar.
Hi, my name is Kelly and I have just signed up to British Expats. I have recently been offered a jon in Doha, Qatar, teaching PE and have accepted. I was wondering if there was anyone who is living there, or has done, and would be willing to give me advice and a general idea of what life is like out there.

We have a couple of excellent Middle East Forums...it would be best if you could repost your questions in the ME forums as you will get a better response. Although most of the people who post in there live in Dubai...we do have some members in Qatar who may be able to help you. The main forum is for topics relating to the Middle East...the Sand Pit is for general chit chat. There is also an Introduction thread in the Sand Pit...why don't you pop over there and introduce yourself?
If you find yourself a little lost navigating the many BE forums...we have a team of concierges who will direct you around the website. The concierge for the Middle East forums is Blue Cat...please contact her if you need any help.
If you have any problems or concerns please contact a moderator. The mods for the ME forums are Bob, NorthernLad and rowell.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

Hi Kelly. Do check out the Middle East forum. I think you'll find plenty of folks living in Qatar. I just did a search in the Middle East forum (blue button, top right) for Doha, and it came up with 238 threads. Happy planning
