Red face Hello everyone!

Hello everyone!

I'm an American citizen unfortunately living in the bible belt southeast.

I'm honestly both overwhelmed by interaction with strangers and the new venture of trying to navigate immigration, especially with the world and society currently feeling like its completely been turned on it's head.

I am ultimately looking to gather and decipher information in the pursuit of helping my boyfriend move to the states as soon as we can manage. We are trying to play it smart but also there's a sense of urgency certainly brought on by the pandemic and unpredictable changes to come. We have visited each other as much as we have been able to, yearly for 3 years of the 4 we have known each other. I had planned to visit this summer but that is no longer a possibility for the same reason I've been droning on about, the world is scary right now.

I'm doing my best to dig through the forums and utilize the wiki for information, but I am quite slow to process and decipher things at times. Please be patient with me, I hope that I will not be an annoyance.

Nice to meet you all!

Hello and to BE DAC

The forum(s) that you need to explore are the USA forum found here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/usa-57/ and in particular the immigration forums such as: http://britishexpats.com/forum/us-im...ship-visas-34/
http://britishexpats.com/forum/marriage-based-visas-35/
if your doesn't have the work experience and/or degrees to find a employer to sponsor him for a visa , then the only course of action would be for you to get engaged and seek a K-1 Fiance Visa or marry and seek a spousal visa. Neither visa will get him here quickly.

Please have a read of the site rules and ask your questions at the USA forums. http://britishexpats.com/site-rules/
