Just joined this community. Hello everyone!
We have some friends and family in the south of France and are planning to move to the midi Pyrenees region early next year. We have looked at many properties online and physically with a view to running a B&B and gite business.As yet we haven't finalised a decision on any particular house but are going out again next month- 3rd time this year!! We are in our late 50s so not retired yet. Having read lots of contradictory information we are still a bit confused regarding the implications of running a small business/ taxation and our possible future enrollement into the state health system? We realise that we will need to supplement our income and my husband would like to work part time as a gardener/handyman mainly within the expat community.
Any advice/comments gratefully received. Thank you.
