Hello from Cape Town

Hi everyone I am new and need some advice about the documents required for a UKM application. My mom was born in London in 1940. I have my mom's original birth certificate, her marriage certificate and her expired passport. I also have my unabridged birth certificate, certified copy of my passport but am battling to get a copy of my unabridged marriage certificate from our home affairs department. Any idea if the original hand written marriage certificate would suffice? I would appreciate any comments.
kind regards
Ingrid
