Hello,

I'v been browsing these forums for a while now and think it's about the right time to join and hopefully get some advice/feedback off you guys.

I'm in the process of applying for a spouse visa for my wife in the next few days. I have handed in the online application VAF4A along with the fee (£885). We have been given a date of 10 October 2014 to hand in all the paperwork at the Islamabad centre.

I have all the necessary paperwork and now its just going to be a waiting game. Printing out 348 pages of whatsapp history was a tough time for my little printer! My visa application is inside a lever arch file with dividers clearly marking every different section. Hopefully this will make life a little easier for the ECO. I will keep you guys updated to the developments of my application.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my post. If there is anything I can help with please let me know. I teach in a primary school so could give advice on anything from transition application forms to behaviour management plans .

I'm guessing the spouse application is for a UK visa, but not certain. If so, any questions would be best raised in the Moving Back to the UK visa section - Citizenship/Passports and Spouse/Family Visas (UK) - British Expats
