Hello from Aurora, Ontario.
Hi people!
After creating a membership in January, have finally got around to completing registration! I've been in Canada for 3 yrs now, with a few bumps along the way, but interested to read what other peoples experiences have been. Left the Uk (Scotland) end of 2008 with my family. Originally from London, where I still think of as 'home'. Even though I've been here a while, I don't think I've tackled some of the issues that still bother me, so maybe other members comments and stories will count as advice.
Just had tears of laughter rolling down my face reading some of the comments about life in Canada - is crime worse or better? The one about the way they dress made me laugh out loud, (bit mean I suppose but that makes it funny!).
Hope I get a reply soon!

Re: Hello from Aurora, Ontario.
Hi, thank you for your reply!
As I'm new to this site, I think I might have made a couple of errors! I had an email this morning directing me to 'tips' for newcomers, and it seems like I jumped the gun a bit by posting a comment against someones thread! I was casually asking if anyone agreed with a point of view that I had, not necessarily asking for help with a big problem, but still it would seem there's a right way and a wrong way for doing this!
I'll take the advice from 'tips' and see if I can't improve on my 'netiquette' or whatever its called! I was just so happy to read of other peoples experiences and opinions, I suppose I just jumped right in. If you have time and can offer me some quick 'tips'(there's that word again), I'd be very grateful as I'm obviously a bit impatient!
Thanks again,
annbelcar65

My guess is that it's a standard email that's sent to all newcomers to the forum, I assume from Sue, but I'm sure she'll clarify for you shortly.
