Hello to all. On behalf of me and my wife!

Having recently had some time off, due to the dreaded C word. Me and my wife have come to the conclusion that we would like to emigrate to canada.

we have talked about it for some 2 years now and decided to get in contact with a distant freind who moved to Ottawa aproximatly 4 years ago. Having come from the same part of the UK he reinforced to us that Canada had similar values and a much better way of life. having done more research and looked into other people's experiences we feel it is the right path for us to take.

whilst researching we came across this forum and it's been a great source of information and help, as we understand moving country isn't a small step by any means.

As we are at the very beginning of our adventure, we may need to ask for some help, but we hope to share any information that is relevant to other users.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank in advance for any advice given, but also to the post that we have read prior to this.
