Welcome to the world of the British Expat. We have many members who have made France their home away from home. May I suggest that you visit our France forum at: France - British Expats and acquaint yourself with our members. On occasion they do have meet ups where members will gather for drinks with fellow expats. Perhaps there will be a meet up near Normandy. If not, you can at least chat here with many others in similar circumstances.
