I've recently moved to Switzerland for a better life and a career in financial planning! its nice to see a forum of active expats! Please don't hesitate to message me to say hello and introduce yourself and give me anything you think would be valuable to someone who has recently moved abroad.

Hi, and welcome to BE.

No words of wisdom I'm afraid as my knowledge of Switzerland is limited to a weeks skiing holiday a year at best, but hope you enjoy it there and I'm sure others on the forums will be able to help you out with tips for expat life there.

We don't have a dedicated section for Switzerland unfortunately but feel free to browse around the Europe section (or anywhere else for that matter). Geneva is a great place, isn't it.

Thank you! Skiing was one of the reasons I looked to move! It's a very beautiful part of the world.

Used to love the Old Town in Geneve. Had some great evenings there.

It is preferable to post on the forums rather than by PM. This allows others to join in and share info. A new member asking people to PM looks a little spammy.
