Hello
Hi All.
I think I was a member here a while ago- but can't remember-lol
Well the reason why I think I was here was like the rest of you- we are planning on emmigrating! Before it was just NZ, but now we have also been considering NZ, OZ and Canada- but how do we decide??
My name is Steph 35- I was a registered paeds nurse- I'm planning on doing my return to nursing practice soon! Married to Mark-36- IT network specialist- mainly Domino/ exchange/blackberry and I think hes mentioned microsoft something or other. We have 3 children, Imogen-8, Flynn nearly 4 and Rupert 8months (today)
Are main reasons for a move abroad is for the children and for us to experience a better life. We feel that here in England is becoming less safe for the kids- only just found out that in a relatively quite estate a few doors down, we have a man bring prostitutes and drug dealers to his house!!! I know it happens Everywhere- but would rather my kids not be near it!! We also think theres more to life than being stuck in boredom and our life will become stale if we stay here! perhaps we are wrong- but we would like to give it a try!!
So thats us!!
So where do we choose-- the one that seems to be the favourite is NZ- but with such a big change we want to explore other options- I'm keener on Canada and NZ, Marks keener on Oz ans NZ ( the snakes and spiders are a BIG ( if you think huntsmen) problem for me!!!)
Hope to chat to some of youx
Lots of love

Re: Hello
Hi Steph,
A big welcome to BE. We are the ideal place for you as we have members who live in all 3 of the countries you are considering. So you will be able to chat with people from each country and get a better feel for where you think you would like to move to. Nothing beats lots and lots of research and there is nothing better to chatting to people who have already made the move. They can share the ups and the downs, the good and the bad.
I hope you enjoy using the site and please don't hesitate to give me a shout if you get stuck on anything.
Sue
