Heading somewhere new after 12 years in the USA
 

Hello! I've been lurking here for about a month and I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from the North East (of the UK!) and I moved to the USA 12 years ago to study. I ended up making a nice living here, but I foolishly fell in love with another British person and so didn't secure myself a green card. Our application for a green card just fell through and my husband's visa is out of time.

So, we're moving on! Not sure where though. Not that keen on the UK just at the moment; so we're thinking of the Middle East or possibly the far East. We are both teachers (with fairly modest tastes!), and we'd like to bank some money. We've got 2 little boys. . . and that's the whole story!

It sounds like you have found your way around BE already, and we have active forums in many parts of the world. As you have "two little boys", have you considers Australia? :lol:

And "two little boys" wasn't so much as nod to Aussie Crooners as a polite way of describing the little so-and-sos who are yelling and yobbing their way through a rainy Sunday:lol:
