Smile Thinking of Moving to Costa Rica with our 14 year old daughter

Hi Everyone :-)

We are considering moving to Costa Rica from the UK with our 14 year old daughter who loves horse riding and photography.
Can anyone recommend the best area to move to? Tamarindo?
Which areas have the least rain?
And which areas are the best for school?

We would appreciate any helpful tips/comments/recommendations

Welcome to BE.

Please take a few minutes to have a read of the site rules, beige bar at the top, and should you have any site related issues them please contact one of the moderators, names in bold at the bottom of the forum page.

You would be better off posting in our Central and South America forum as they are more likely to have any information. I'm not too sure if we have any members in the country but people will try and help.

You havent said whether you intend to work, and if so, in what area, and why you are planning to go to Costa Rica, so its impossible to give you tips etc

As this is the Welcome Inn where new members are asked to introduce themselves, it is unusual for them to say more. When the OP visits the right forum, I'm sure he will be happy to expand on his details.

Thanks so much for stopping in and making the new member feel welcomed.

Sorry, I forgot I was in the Welcome Inn; you were dead right in your comment

Glad I'm not the only one who does that! I was having a good old moan about something on (I thought) the Take It Outside forum one day, and wondered why people appeared puzzled at my post. I realised I'd posted it on the Middle East forum - to this day I still don't know how I managed that!
