Greetings everyone – Advocate planning a new move
 

Hello,

I am a new member to this wonderful BE community. I enjoy reading the tips provided to those seeking to move. :)

I am a British citizen and qualified lawyer. I currently live in London - I was born in East Africa and I’ve been living in France and UK for the last 15 years. In my free time, I love travelling and I am planning to move (for work in the legal sector) to a totally different area (Middle-East/East Asia) for the culture, higher chances of more travel and for the great opportunities available for expats.

Thanks for all your contributions and I look forward to continue learning a lot from all the readings provided on the forum.

There are so many interesting threads - I'm really enjoying it.

I'd love to hear from anyone who is a lawyer or knows other lawyers who qualified abroad and are now based in the Middle East/East Asia.

It will be good to know how the situation is in their current workplace, the potential of finding suitable jobs in the legal services and any tips that may help those who are seeking a new move.

I will highly appreciate your views/recommendations/ any info for guidance.

Afternoon and welcome to BE

Sounds like you have had a very diverse and interesting life and wish to continue that diversity by potentially moving on to newer areas.

Since you expressed interest in Asia and the Middle East, please post your questions there: Far East and Asia - British Expats

Perhaps there is another attorney there who can answer your questions.
