Default Greetings from Aussie Wannabees!

Hello,
My husband and I currently hold Canadian and UK citizenship and are hoping to acquire Australian permanent residency through state sponsorship in the near future.

We have been following the Australian immigration requirements over the past few years and it has been a rollercoaster of emotions.......one minute we don't qualify....the next we do....then we don't...and now the plan is back on again once Skill Select is implemented. (if we get nominated by a state and then if we receive and invitation to apply)!

We have referred to this site many times before and find it quite informative. As we go through the Skill Select Process, we will be more than happy to share our experiences in the hopes it helps other people too.

A big HELLO to everyone and great to meet you all!

A big welcome to BE, you've certainly come to the right place to connect with others moving and living in Australia, so I'm sure you will pick up lots of tips.

I hope you enjoy being part of our community and if you get stuck on anything please don't hesitate to give me a shout.
