I think you need a visa. Without a path to a visa everything else is moot. Getting a visa for the UK or the US is a very tough challenge, and for many it isn't even possible.

BE is not set up to help or guide people looking for immigrant visas for the UK, other than returning British citizens with a foreign spouse. You might get some useful information by looking at the US section of the Wikis tab above, and reading the two "Pulaski" wikis.

When you want to do some serious work research you might like to browse and join in with some threads in the Nursing area of the forum.
