Florida to Spain!!
 

Hi my wife and I are looking at selling our holiday property in Naples Florida and heading to Spain to buy again. Various reasons including great exchange rate with weak pound, distance eg we would get more use in Spain, costs in the US are getting higher all the time as it now works out around £7k per annum to maintain a property. Any suggestions regarding areas would be appreciated. We like coves and mountains not long beaches. Looking at Malaga to Alicante currently. Thanks in anticipation

Hi there and welcome to BE.

I love Naples, Florida but I know that 7K is a lot to spend on maintenance if you are only living there part-time. At least in Spain (for the moment anyway), you don't have to worry about visas, etc. which can determine just how long you can stay in your holiday home.
