You've come to the right place for helpful information and tips about retiring to Spain. Several of our members who post in the Spain Forums are retired expats. The people who post in the Spain Forums are a friendly bunch of folk...why don't you pop over there, take a look around and join in?
I recommend that you also take a look in the BE Wiki.
If you have problems finding your way around BE's many forums we have a team of concierges to guide you. The concierges for the Spain forums is The Oddities.
Problems and complaints should be addressed to a moderator. The mods for the Spain forums are Fred James and Mitzyboy.
Please shout out if you need further help. Good luck with your retirement plans.

We took early retirement in 2006 and like you were excited but also quite aprehensive and nervous of the whole thing. You will find that if you do a search on the Spain forum that many of your queries will have been asked before but you may come at it from a different angle so ask away. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience on the forum so you will find a variety of answers to any question asked.
What part of Spain are you hoping to move to? Do you already know some people in Spain?
Good luck and join in, looking forward to reading your posts and hope that I can help sometimes.
