Default Currently a Civil Servant

Hi

I am currently thinking about a move to Canada BC or Alberto. I don't have a trade but I have worked for HMRC for 18 years and I am currently a Higher Officer. What are the chances of my Civil Service status helping me get admission. I currently work in Tax Collection.

Many thanks

Kate

Hi, and welcome to BE.

Your civil service status won't help with a visa for Canada at all, but have a look at the CIC website and Wiki on this forum to see if you can figure out which of the many Canadian visa routes you may be eligible for.

And do come and join us in the Canada forums, the immigration section of the forum is where to post any visa related queries and the main Canada section is for general life in Canada type queries.

HTH, good luck.

100 years ago it might have helped you get a job in Canada. Not in 2015.
