Default Canadian in Japan

Greetings Everyone,

Being Canadian, I feel a little awkward in your forum. My heritage is English on my father's side, and Scottish on my mother's, so I feel I can find my footing if you give me a chance. I've been to England and Scotland but it was years ago when I was in University. I am getting some friends together to go to Britain next year for a golf and scotch drinking tour, to celebrate our 50th swing around the sun. I've escaped the Canadian winter and been in Japan for the past 20 years. After getting my permanent residency I was able to get my used car dealers license, enter the dealer's auctions and I've learned to export vehicles. I've only sent cars to a few countries as of now, but I hope there are some expats out there that want to team up for our mutual benefit.

I look forward to hearing from you all, and trying to answer ant questions you have.

Cheers

Hey there, we're not all Brits here.. you are welcome. (US/Canadian here)
Good pick on the whiskey tour; I was the recipient of samples from when my folks went a year or so ago.. they had a great time, and the drinking and golf were good.

I guess Japan didn't get washed away in the tsunami (or fall into the earth with your own quake) last night (my time) so that's good... sounds like you have an interesting story.

Welcome aboard; have a review of the site rules regarding advertising etc before putting that forward too much.
