Hi everyone! I am totally new to this site as me and hubby have decided to explore the possibility of moving to Canada, Toronto specifically with our daughter age 6.
We are booked to attend a seminar thingy at the end of September in Manchester but any advice on costs, visas, schools will be most welcome

Canada - British Expats

Depending where your jobs are will probably dictate where you live to a certain extent. Traffic congestion is dreadful here...especially the commute in and out of the city at peak times. There seems to be an excellent train service for commuters. For more info I suggest you ask in the Canada forums...there are lots if us in the T.O. area.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
