British living in nyc
Hi all,
I recently moved to manhattan nyc for my husbands job. We are both mid to late 20's . I am still waiting for my EAD .
I feel so lonely and unhappy, any suggestions on how to meet people in similar situations?

Hi there and welcome to the forum
Oh please don't be sad. Moving country is such a big move and it always takes a little while to settle and get adjusted. Believe me...I've done it a few times. But you will get settled.
I suggest you pop over to the U.S. section of the forum and join in with some discussions. Maybe start up a topic of your own. It's quite a lively section of the forum so I imagine you'll find quite a few folks already living in NYC and maybe you can meet up with some of those.

Welcome to BE
Plenty of threads in the US section, though Facebook groups, meetup.com the local library, town newcomers groups etc, are all good places to check out.
