Default Britain soon moving to the states

Hi everyone,
my name is Andrew and I’m soon to be moving to the United States, to be with my fiancé. I am on here to get help with the whole move and what sort of things I can expect, need to know. Also I’m interested in any information regarding the visa waiver program and marrying on it. Then returning to England for the mandatory 3 moths. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear from your you.

Hello Andrew and welcome to BE

I'm going to refer you to the USA forum's Marriage-Based Visa sub-forum for you answers. I take it from your post that you will not be doing the K-1 Fiancee Visa but prefer to chance entering the US with the intent to marriage and return to the UK to await your wife's filing of the I-130 for your Spousal Visa.

I don't know what this mandatory 3 months you are referring to. If you are talking about spending 3 months in the US and 3 months outside of the US and then coming back to spend another 3 months in the US and so on until the I-130 is approved and sent to the US Embassy in London for adjudication, it is froth is pitfalls.

Since this is the Welcome Inn, please go to https://britishexpats.com/forum/marr...ased-visas-35/ with your questions and for discussions on all aspects of your proposed plans.
