Default From County of Essex (UK) to Essex County NJ

Hi All,

We are just in prelim discussions re relocating to US. My husband will work in Wall St, and as we have a young family I've opted for New Jersey as the optimal place to live. Short Hills / Millburn seem to look good.

Fingers crossed that the expat package negotiations go well this week!

I'm sure that we'll have loads of questions, but for now I just wanted to say "Hi!"

Hello and welcome to BE. I was doing a spot of Christmas shopping yesterday at The Mall At Short Hills.

Loads of info about re-lo packages in the BE Wiki. There are also lots of past threads in the US Forums on Short Hills/Millburn area. You will find a tab to the search engine at the top of the page...I recommend you search the US Forums for all threads/posts by Englishmum. She has recently moved from the area and has posted great info in the past.

I look forward to seeing you in the US Forums.
