Default Australians - E3 Visa and 2 year Working Visa for UK

Hi all

First time user, so hope my question/s aren't too stupid!

An Australian, currently based in the US, originally with an E3 visa which has now been extended.
Ive currently taken a new role, which Im in the process of transferring the E3 visa for.

In the future, I am looking to make the move to UK on the 2 year working visa - this the 'Working Holiday Visa'.

I believe I need to apply for the UK Visa and start work before I am 30?

Further to this, and the pressing question I have, should I not be quite ready to move to London from New York, can I apply and be granted my UK Working Holiday Visa (prior to 30), enter the UK from which point the Visa will be 'active' but spend a further 3-6months in NY on my E3 visa? I realise this will eat into the 2 years for the UK Visa.

Or will the UK Working Holiday Visa effectively cancel my E3 Visa?

Thanks,
Rich

Welcome to BE.

I think it would be best if you post questions about the US visa in the US Immigration Forum...
US Immigration, Citizenship and Visas - British Expats.

Likewise...questions about a visa for the UK are best posted in the UK Immigration forum...Citizenship/Passports and Spouse/Family Visas (UK) - British Expats.

If you have any site related problems please give me a shout.
