Default Advice for possibly moving to Perth

Hi

Can anyone give us any advice about moving to Perth, Australia?

We are currently trying to weigh up the pros and cons. We are a married couple with two young boys (aged 6 and 4).

Any advice about schooling, cost of living, average wage for an automotive glazier, my husband currently works for Autoglass in England as a mobile technican.

Also any advice on where to live in the Perth area.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated !

Kind Regards

Andrew and Julie

Hi there and welcome to B.E.

It's my pleasant duty to welcome you to the forum and give you a point of contact should you need any help with the site in general. You can contact me here.

A list of all the moderators and helpers with their relevant countries including Australia can be found here.

Any problems, dont hesitate to PM me.

Not wishing to be negative but are you able to get or do you have a visa yet to allow you to settle here?

Thank you for posting in the Welcome Inn, it helps us to find you and say hello but if you'd like to re-post in the main Australian section here, you'd be more likely to get some replies.

Alistair.

Hello Andrew and Julie...welcome to BE.

Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself but as this forum is purely to welcome new members to BE...it would be appreciated if you could repost your questions in the Australia Forum.

We have a great bunch of people who post in our Australia Forums...they will give you tips and advice on life Down Under. The link I have given you will take you to the main index page of the Australia Forum...at the top of the page you will see a list of sub forums. The top forum is the Immigration Forum all questions regarding the immigration process should be posted in there. The Main forum is for topics relating to Australia and The Barbie is for general chit chat. Also take a look in the BE Wiki...you'll find loads of useful info in there.

Alistairboyle has already introduced himself to you...he is the concierge for the Australia forums and will act as your tour guide to help you navigate the many BE forums. So if you have any problems finding your way around our many forums please contact Alistair.

If you have any concerns or problems please contact a moderator or admin. The mods for the Australia forums are Cresta57, Monneypenny20, Sonlymewalter and Centurion.

I hope you enjoy your time with us and don't forget to shout out should you require any help.
