Default Advice please! - Moving from the USA back to the UK with a grade 9 daughter.

Hi,

My daughter is currently in grade 9 at high school and we will be returning to the UK to start school in September. So far I'm aware of her options to attend grade 10 in the American school but would really welcome advice on other options, if there are any.

Right now we are leaning towards 1 year at an American school and then pulling her out for A levels at a UK school or college - any advise welcomed.

Many thanks for your help.

Hi Charlotte, welcome to BE.

This area is for introductions and greetings and you will probably get a better respond by posting your question in the Moving Back to the UK subforum.

Morning and warm welcome to BE.

As mentioned, this is the Welcome Inn where we ask you to introduce yourself by telling us a little about yourself.

I see that you will be returning to the UK with your family and that Pulaski has directed you to the appropriate forum for your questions regarding your daughter's continuing education.

May I ask that you have a read of the Site Rules | British Expatriate Community before asking your questions. Also if you have any questions or issues with navigating the site, please contact one of the moderators who will be happy to assist you.

Again, welcome.
