Hello! 10 years ago next month I packed up up my house my (then husband!) and my dog and moved to Nova Scotia Canada. Since then I've become a Proud Canadian Citizen and couldn't imagine being anywhere else. Im now about to rent my basement out and would love to help new families or couples who are wanting to do the same. Im not sure where to advertise as I don't want to tick anyone off on here so wondering if anyone can guide me. When I was trying to emigrate I was fortunate to stay with someone who had done the move themselves, and Id love to pass it on.

If you look at the white banner at the top of the page you'll see the word "Advertise". However, there is far more to be gained by joining BE than finding a place to advertise your rental.

There is a well used and welcoming forum for Canadian transplants. Many live in NS, as well as the other provinces. Often newbies who are just going through the visa experience are looking for housing along with answers to the myriad of questions they have about life in Canada.

I urge you to read and become a member of that forum so that others can learn from your experiences and you have the opportunity make new friends.
