Oh that was us too!!! The Toffee Penny's & the Yellow Toffee Fingers, which I didn't mind as much cuz the had chocolate on them, but they would always be left until the end. We always took our absolute favourites & then worked ourselves down the list, there were 5 of us!

Thanks to the European side of my spouse's family (I have nothing to do with this), my MIL is preparing a "white" meal for Christmas Eve. It's traditional Polish (or is it Catholic. I'm not sure).

There'll be: perch (a white fish), sauerkraut (white cabbage), pierogi, rolls and potato salad. I love all this kind of stuff.

Ok, this is after-the-fact posting, but I made one of my favorite meals for Christmas Eve: wiener schitzel, spaetzel, and broccoli & cheese casserole. Oh, and a cake with a snowman on it.
