Better ask Santa for a Kindle!

Or a relocation package

I would seriously consider paying for a translator. The hospital will have people trained in medical matters they can call in.

A professional whose sole task is communication of information can be incredibly valuable. Having the language issue tangled up with history, concern and responsibility is a recipe for ill-communication and stress on all parties.

(I've watched my dad deal with my non-english-speaking grandmother for years. Once he learnt the above lesson, his inclination to strangle her in front of medical personnel significantly decreased )

Actually even though I don't live there, I think Wyoming is nice, I could cope with the distances.
From what I've seen, I wouldn't really want to bring kids up in either N or S Dakota. Minesotta, might be a decent place for that perhaps, definitely not as barren, and more fun in the winter.

The only relocation I've been putting in for, is back to the UK.

They held a parade for your birthday? That's very nice of them.

...when you write to your local congressman requesting road signs and official forms to be written in Welsh to maintain parity with other minorities...

After they write it in Seminole then you can see what might be done.

I was going to suggest that you know you've been in the US too long, when you actually start adopting a college football team nickname for part of your BE name.

I believe that the only language the Seminoles write in these days, are dollars... Which is a lot more universal than Welsh.

You mean hood up right

I had a friend at work try and change his oil himself for the first time a few months back. He drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil by mistake
