I saw my first high school [ice] hockey game last night, and what do you know? The cheerleaders from both schools were there to perform. I guess if the basketball team isn't playing yet, and football is over, they need to do something to keep in shape.
Anyway, to Bink's point, when I was in high school the cheerleaders were the best looking girls in the school. Last night, the cheerleaders all looked like dogs and more than a few of them were clearly on the Nutek diet.

Yeah, I didn't believe you - I didn't think ice hockey got any pick.
Apparently ice hockey doesn't get a veto, either.

You know you've been in the US too long when you watch 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and think how skinny the children look.

..... you hear "Oh, Christmas Tree" at the mall and you don't have a little voice inside your head trying to sing the words to "The Red Flag".

You buy your wife a bed mat for her truck, as a Christmas present, and she thinks it is a very thoughtful and useful gift.
