No, I mean when you hear someone interviewed, they always seem to pick someone with a really strong regional accent, someone who sounds totally disinterested, or someone who uses, basically and literally over and over again!

It may have something to do with my expectations of brits, too ... 'most' brits seem to be somewhat left-leaning - relative to US measures at least - so when I hear a brit on TV spouting right-wing nonsense it always sounds wrong!

Watch that episode of the Inbetweeners where they go on a field trip, and realise why I cringe every time I hear an NI accent among just about any other accent.
