Yet another annoying passport question
 

Today I printed out form C1 to renew my passport. My old passport was in a previous name, that is, my married name from 2 husbands ago. There is a line that says Previous names used so I listed them, then it occurred to me that maybe I should also do a change of name at the same time?

thoughts ? we aren't planning on traveling until September so I have plenty of time but i'd really rather send all the right stuff the first time.

yes yes i'm a pain ... thoughts on this ?

why would you not do a name change at this time?

If you wait till after your renewel to do the name change you will pay another application fee..

Agreed. but have you already purchased your flights?

If so, your passport must be in the exact same name as your booking.
