Sorry, I obviously wasn't clear, as I was aware of the process for Motions to Reopen, and clearly too excited to think straight.

Basically, if you meet the criteria to have your case reopened, you are proving you meet the criteria for the I-140, thus proving one proves the other. If your motion is approved, your I-140 is approved.

We should have our Green Cards in our hands in around 2 weeks time.

What a relief for you. Congratulations.

Congratulations to you Nicky and your family. I know the stress that you've been under only too well, and can only imagine the relief. Wishing you all the best honey :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, it has been horrible. Hopefully your case will have a positive outcome too, and you can get on with living your life out here, rather than constantly stressing over what might happen.

Well our I485's still haven't been approved, so today we are filing for our AP cards renewing, as they expire in July.

More USCIS forms, filing, and waiting for decisions... Thought we were done with all that. Sigh

You're nearly there. Get the vino ready!
I'm going to find the biggest wine glass I can find for when we are done.

I have had a very special bottle of Napa wine chilling in the fridge for the last 2 months, to be opened on the day we finally get approval :fingerscrossed:

Can't believe we're coming up on 1 year since we filed, these things just take forever.

Un-bloody-believable.....just scrolled back and see it's over a month since we were all sharing your relief and joy that approval was signed, sealed and about to be delivered....where is it then? What an agonizing endurance test
