I was looking over my interview letter again and they have put my DOB incorrctly (they have switched the month and day around). I checked the photocopies of the forms I sent in and I had filled those out correctly. I called the Embassy and the lady said she couldn't change it and just to let them know at the interview.

Will this effect the visa issuance on the same day does anyone know?

Some countries will automatically write the date differently, in the uk for example
today is 17-01-02 but in the US it is 01-17-02, still fairly obvious what the date
is cause there is no 17th month but can be confusing during the first 12 days of
each month

Should not worry too much

Sorry, let me explain that a little better.

The date isnt in numbers, it actually says "September 4th" for example, when my birthday is April 9th (4 and 9 wrong way round). I know that they write the numbers the other way from us, but this actually has the month clearly written.

That's OK, the interview is the correct place to get this changed.

Andy.

Thanks! I just didn't want to get to my interview and then be told I couldn't get my visa because they needed to reinput the correct date of birth into the background checks they do or whatever and it would be another 3 weeks.
